JOB SUMMARY: Report to Energy Management Control Systems (EMCS) Supervisor. Service and repair Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. Experience with HVAC equipment controls a plus. Familiar with and have the expertise to perform troubleshooting with low voltage circuits.
PRIMARY DUTY: Troubleshooting controls systems, testing sensors, actuators, and signals. Replacing components, as necessary. Work from verbal or written instructions.
SECONDARY DUTY: Position entails mandatory standby, rotation basis.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES: Additional duties in direct support of departmental requirements.
EXPERIENCE: Position requires training and experience obtained through certification or on the job training. Formal training in computer systems and electronics is desirable, but not mandatory. Understand, read, write and speak fluent English
EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent education or job training.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: Physically fit to bend, stoop and lift in awkward positions and be able to lift 75 lbs. and manage heights. Basic computer skills/comfortable with using a computer. Must possess and maintain a valid Colorado Driver’s License. Able to receive and maintain a favorable Local Background Check (LBC and DMV) and National Agency Check (NAC) as applicable to the position requirements, current and future. May participate in Electronic Certification programs.
