MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The Electric  Supervisor will manage a team of staff including electricians and technicians as well as have the ability to perform a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy. Work involves supervising most of the following activities: installing or repairing any of a variety of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment: working from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications; locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical systems or equipment; working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment, and using a variety of electrician’s hand tools and measuring and testing instruments. This is a salaried exempt position that reports directly to the Utilities Manager.  Must be able to successfully complete a drug/alcohol test and a criminal record check. May be required to obtain and maintain a security clearance, including successfully completing a thorough background investigation. For positions requiring use of a company and/or customer vehicle, must have a safe driving record within the past 36 months, as defined by company policy.


EDUCATION:  High School Diploma or GED (vocational/technical training a plus).


EXPERIENCEMust have a minimum of 10 years overall work experience as an Electrician on commercial and/or industrial projects. Must have a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience.  Must be capable of providing supervisory, technical assistance to subordinates and possess good verbal and written communication/computer and organization skills. Must have ability to effectively read, write, and speak the English language. Will be required to maintain a valid and current state driver’s license.


LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, REGISTRATIONS: Master's Electrician license preferred.


Must be vaccinated in accordance with all Executive Orders, Government mandates or requirements, contractual requirements and company policy
