About Us

Carlos Garcia, Founder and President

KIRA Incorporated was founded in 1987 by Carlos Garcia. Born in Cuba and a naturalized US Citizen, Garcia started KIRA Inc. shortly after receiving his MBA from Columbia University. Starting in a one room office in Miami, Garcia grew KIRA from a single employee entity to a national company.

As KIRA grew, it attracted many of the top executives in the industry, as well as promoted outstanding workers throughout its ranks. There are many examples throughout the company of managers that have grown with the business and worked on multiple KIRA job sites. KIRA’s executives and managers are fully committed to KIRA’s vision to provide the best services available at some of the lowest prices in the industry.

From these modest beginnings, KIRA has expanded its offerings and today provides a full suite of facilities maintenance, civil engineering and base operations support services.

In 2016 Tlingit Haida Tribal Business Corporation completed the acquisition of KIRA Incorporated now KIRA LLC. The acquisition included two additional smaller companies, intellectual property, trademarks, and other assets. KIRA LLC is an accomplished and profitable facilities maintenance and base operations support services contractor with over 30 years’ experience. KIRA’s continues to focus on providing quality services at extremely competitive prices and as a result, our customer satisfaction ratings are among the best in the industry.

KIRA is entering an exciting period in its history. The company’s capabilities and experience place KIRA in a unique growth position to capitalize on increased infrastructure investment. With a focus on infrastructure maintenance and services, KIRA plans to increase its customer base and service areas to surpass the already outstanding achievements of the company.
