KIRA Awarded USCG Base Maintenance Contract in Maryland
KIRA has been awarded a five-year, multi-million dollar contract to maintain the United States Coast Guard YARD in Baltimore, MD. Full contract operations begin May 1, 2010.
Services that will be provided on this contract include: maintenance and operations of buildings and structures, pest control, fire protection and safety, refuse and recycling, elevator maintenance, HVAC and refrigeration, grounds maintenance, and electrical and water distribution systems.

KIRA's Fort Carson Site Receives SHARP Certification for a Second Time
Congratulations to Mark Bartle, Denise Edwards and the entire Fort Carson team. KIRA has received recognition under OSHA's Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program for the second time.
KIRA Fort Carson will be exempt from OSHA programmed inspections from March 5, 2010 to March 4, 2012.

KIRA wins DISA TIM IDIQ contract
KIRA received notice of award today from the General Services Administration on the DISA TIM IDIQ procurement. KIRA responded to a solicitation in which the company may provide facilities maintenance support to the Defense Information Systems Agency throughout the United States.
This solicitation resulted in the selection of four Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract holders; KIRA being one of them. Ten DISA datacenters will eventually fall underneath this solicitation;

KIRA President/CEO, Carlos Garcia accepted the accolade on behalf of KIRA from Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce President/CEO, Barry Johnson.
